Selected Agricultural Location Factors
The location of agriculture is influenced by characteristics of the physical
environment and by characteristics of the human environment. The
type of agriculture and whether it is commericial or subsistence will determine
which factors are the most influential in determining location. The
following list of major factors is not meant to be an exhaustive list of
location factors, but is sufficient to give an indication of the range
of physical and human location factors.
