Christ's Waterfall
All I want is peace at this time,
for the storms of life are near me.
They toss and turn all that I know,
and hear, and see, and breathe.
This heart of mine beats faster now
underneath such whirling mess.
But soon thy calming waters come,
and sooth me in my distress.
Thy peace and tranquil I desire
but thus feels so far away.
And farther and farther it descends
till finally in Calmnight's day.
Thy life-giving vapors I want in.
My heart's crave your waterfall.
I now walk in and drench myself
coming toward your lolling call
