UNDER CONSTRUCTION The purpose of this page is to honor kids with cancer and to provide some information for cancer patients and their families. This page is called warriors and angels, for the children who are battling cancer or are in remission (warriors) and for the precious children who are now safely home. Quilts of Love is an organization that honors precious children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses:

The Tumbleweed Foundation is a new organization that honors kids with cancer and other illnesses. Founded in memory of Julia Levy of Pennsylvania, the Tumbleweed's ultimate goal is to provide financial assistance and hospital/hospice assistance to families of children with cancer. The Tumbleweed also features kids monthly and has pages for children who have passed away or who need extra prayers. Please click on the picture to visit.

The Hugs and Hope Club is another organization that honors kids with cancer and other illnesses. This particular organization sends cards and presents to sick children at their home addresses and features them monthly on the website.

Make a Child Smile is similar to the Hugs and Hope Club; it also features an online store. This site features three children monthly who have chronic illnesses.

Taylor Marie Adkins fought a courageous battle with a grade IV pontine brain stem glioma for over 16 months before finally succombing to the disease on April 30, 2004. Her teacher started the website "A Miracle for Taylor" to help others keep up with her progess. It has since turned into a memorial for this beautiful child. Click on the purple ribbon to visit:

Skate4Cancer is a dream of a young man named Robert Dyer. After losing his mom, grandma and a close friend to cancer all in the same year, he decided to do something about the plight about cancer patients involving what he does best: skateboarding! Rob's 6,200 mile journey, started on March 3rd, will take him and five of his friends from Los Angeles through the Southwest, and then up through Ontario. He will be raising between 20 and 30 thousand dollars to go towards cancer research.
