A New Day
Today's a new day
I approach it with gladness
and a little fear.
For I know that God is in control,
everything will work out for my good.
But I am still a little scared.
For today, I know I will sin.
I will mess up.
People won't like me, or understand me.
But, God is with me, and with him come blessings overflowing.
I just need to obey him.
So, I look at this new day as a gift
I ask him now to be in control of me.
Maybe I will sin less.
