Letter to the Editor

The Northeastern Student Government Association would like to thank you, the students, for another successful Homecoming Week. Just like every other experience this school offers, we would not have had such an enormous achievement without the outstanding work and support of such a first-rate student body.

NSGA congratulates the Homecoming court candidates and especially the participants of all the philanthropic events of the week.

NSGA would like to give a special thanks to Shane Franklin and Sandy Guzman for stepping up to the plate and moderating a clean election, Liz Cook for putting together a phenomenal parade that was enjoyed by students and alumni alike, Kat Kennedy for organizing this year’s successful paint the town green event and everybody else that was involved to help make this year an occasion to remember.

Future student bodies of NSU can remember the fun and success of Homecoming week ‘09 and hopefully be inspired to keep working hard for their campus and community. If future student bodies have just a fraction of the school spirit that the campus currently has, future semesters can definitely look forward to more and more fruitful years.
