Dr. J. Michael Sharp received his B.A. from Northwest Missouri State University, and completed his M.A. and Ph.D. through the Carl Albert Congressional Studies and Research Center at the University of Oklahoma. Professor Sharp teaches classes in legislative studies, Congress, interest groups, campaigns and elections and public administration. His main research interests are in congressional voting behavior and elections. The fourth edition of his Directory of Congressional Voting Scores and Interest Group Ratings is due to be published by Congressional Quarterly Press in August of 2005. Currently he is compiling state election data which will be available electronically through the Oklahoma Social Science Research Institute.
