Dr. Brian Rader received his B.A. and M.A. from Colorado State University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. Professor Rader has been teaching at the university level for 40 years, during that time he has taught thirteen different political science courses including courses in public administration, ethnic politics, and political behavior. Dr. Rader was on the Tahlequah City Council for sixteen years, and has also served as Interim Mayor of Tahlequah. His book, The Political Outsiders: Blacks and Indians In A Rural Oklahoma County was published in 1978 by R and E Research of Palo Alto California.
