The Department of Social Sciences offers eight degree programs provided
by 19 full-time faculty members and several adjunct faculty members.
Students may also choose a minor from among any of our programs which
offer a bachelor's degree as well as four additional stand-alone minors.
During most semesters there are between 275 and 310 students majoring
in our programs (collectively). The department provides instruction
to over 7,000 students per year. Our academic programs are listed below
