D. Course Evaluation

Your final grade will be based upon total accumulated points from the following: 3-hour exams (one after each part) 1-comprehensive final exam -occasional exercises/homework Based on the following scale:

   90-100% Highest total points = A
   80-89% Highest total points = B
   70-79% Highest total points = C
   60-69% Highest total points = D
   <60% Highest total points = F



E. Attendance

Attendance is required and roll will be taken. In order to allow for sickness and emergencies, a maximum of 5 absences will be allowed without penalty. Absences in excess of 5 will be penalized by deducting 2% from a students final score for each additional absence. NSU sponsored events with official prior notification will be the only exception to this policy.



F. Make-Up Exams

NONE!!! If you miss one hour exam, I will let you replace the exam you miss with the adjusted score you make on the final exam. This can be done only one time, and only with a valid excuse. Everyone must take the final.



G. Homework

Homework assignments are to be turned in when due. No late homework will be accepted for credit.



H. Withdrawal Policy

Students who withdraw on before February 20, 1998 will receive a "W" for the class. Students who withdraw after February 20, 1998 will receive either a "W" or an "F" based upon their grade as of the date of their withdrawal.



I. Disabled Students

If any member of the class feels that he/she has a disability and needs special accommodations, please advise the instructor of such disability at the first class meeting.
