Total Points accumulated from:
NONE!!! If you miss one exam, I will replace it with the score you make on the final exam (adjusted down to be equivalent to an hour exam). This can be done only once. Everyone MUST take the Final Exam.
One Saturday field trip will be required for course credit. Time will be announced later. Field trip will be worth 40 points. In the event that you can not attend the field trip, an appropriate research paper may be substituted for equivalent credit.
Attendance is required and roll will be taken. In order to allow for sickness and emergencies, a maximum of 5 absences/tardies will be allowed without penalty. Absences/tardies in excess of 5 will be penalized by deducting 2% from a students final score for each additional absence/tardy. NSU sponsored events with prior official notification will be the only exception to this policy.
Homework assignments are to be turned in when due. No late homework will be accepted for credit.
