Student evaluation will be based on 3 required lecture exams (one over each of the topics covered), any quizzes and homework given during the semester, plus a comprehensive final exam give during finals week. Grades will be based on the following scale:

will be allowed without penalty. Absences in excess of 3 will be penalized
by deducting 4% from a students final score for each additional absence.
NSU sponsored events with prior notification will be the only exception
to this policy.
Make-up Exams: NONE! If you miss an exam with a valid excuse, I will replace it with the score you make on the final adjusted to the value of a lecture exam. This can only be done one. Everyone must take the final.
Pop Quizzes: No make-up allowed.
Homework: Homework assignments are to be turned in when due. No late homework
will be accepted for credit.
