Final Project
(25 points)

  1. Design and create either an educational website OR a personal website using Flash. For full credit your final project must include:
    • Rollover buttons.
    • One music or sound file.
    • At least one animated graphic.
    • Your name somewhere in the Flash movie.

    Educational websites
    Must include either 5 scenes or present 5 different questions. Listed below are some examples of educational games.

    In the last two examples, each page would represent a separate scene. You could create very basic images yourself or you could find images at Google by pressing the link Images and then type in keyword(s).

    Personal websites
    Must include 5 different scenes. Scenes could include: pictures of yourself, family, and friends; hobbies; links to favorite sites; your resume, portfolio; and profile. Each one of these items would probably be a separate scene.

    • Help on creating and targeting scenes can be found in Video #23.
    • Help on creating rollover buttons can be found in Video #17.
    • Help on include sound files can be found in Video #21.

  2. Save your work as "final-project.fla" when you are finished.

  3. Publish your work by selecting "File" and then "Publish", or by pressing "Shift+F12". This will create "final-project.html" and "final-project.swf" and "AC_RunActiveContent.js". Upload these three files to YOUR-CLASS-WEBSITE.
