Standards and Ethics Committee

The Standards and Ethics Committee deals with all election proceedings and ensures that the SGA’s actions are consistent with the By-Laws and Constitution of the Northeastern Student Government Association. 

In addition, the Standards and Ethics Chair reviews matters related to SGA member absences, disciplinary matters, and compliance with the SGA Code of Ethics. Members who are not upholding the requirements of their respective offices as determined by a majority vote of their respective Branch/Chamber may be referred to the committee who may recommend impeachment or other disciplinary action.
