Fellow Students,

             The new semester is underway and we are all starting to settle in.  There are great things happening at NSU~BA.  A great number of you are shopwing interest in student organizations and student leadership.  NSGA~BA is growing, and I am excited about the state of the Senate. 

            We have already begun working to ensure that your wants and needs are met. We need your input so that we can best represent you.  If you cannot attend a Senate meeting, please let us know what your concerns are through email.

President’s Report

July 24, 2007

Fellow Students,

              The NSGA~BA has worked hard for you throughout the summer.  We have met weekly to discuss issues of concern here on campus as well as on the state level of Higher Education.  We are currently planning activities for the Fall and Spring semester. 

              Last weekend we hosted the first annual NSU~BA Student Leadership Retreat.  There we worked to bring the student organizations of NSU~BA together. We dedicated a weekend to planning thye best ways in which we can work for you in the 07-08 academic year. 

              I encourage you all to get involved this year, regardless of the Student Organization you choose to become a part of.  There are currently 14 student organizations here on campus.

              We, the NSGA~BA, represent the NSU~BA student body here on campus and beyond.  We need to mobilize and become a unified voice so that we can not only improve student life during our college years, but so that we can also lay the foundation for the next generations of NSU~BA students. 

              Earlier this summer, I was elected as the Chairman of the Student Advisory Board to the Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education.  In this position I have the opportunity to directly represent you to the State Regents and the Chancellor.  I need you to let me know what your concerns are on the Campus, University, and State levels.

              I represent your wants, needs, and concerns not my own.  In order for me to accurately represent you, I need you to communicate with me.
