National Nontraditional Student Week is a nationwide celebration of non-traditional students in higher education. It is held the first full week of November, Sunday to Monday.
This year, NoTSO will participate in National Nontraditional Student Week in several ways. Please attend a meeting or check back here for more information.

NoTSO Officer Nominations
Nominations will be taken from the floor at today's meeting for all NoTSO offices. Any full-time NSU student meeting the requirements for office may nominate themselves or have someone else nominate them. All nominations must be seconded. Each nominee will give a one to two minute speech outlining the strengths and benefits that they will bring to office. Nomination speeches will be given at the December 2, 2004 meeting. Elections will be held immediately following nomination speeches in December.

TRIO and Student Support Services
Student Services at NSU
TRIO and Student Support Services will be presenting information about the services that they offer to NSU students. All incoming freshman are required to take a class called College Success that informs them of many services on campus. Transferring non-trads, specifically, aren't always aware of the many ways in which NSU can help them through college.
If time allows, additional speakers will be added to provide information on other services offered at NSU.
