August 1, 2004:
Two NoTSO officers attended the Student Leadership Conference from August 1, 2004 to August 3, 2004.
Delegates representing a cross-section of campus organizations were in attendance, and a lot of great ideas were discussed. Many SLC delegates will sit on the Northeastern Student Government Association's Student Senate this academic year. This Student Leadership Conference helped these people get to know each other as they discussed ideas for the 2004-2005 academic year.
NoTSO's officers are your delegates and representatives on and off campus. We need to hear from you so we can accurately represent your opinions and views.

August 2, 2004:
NoTSO's President and Executive VP spent all day in meetings today. From 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, the day was planned.
Delegates from all of the organizations represented at the conference met each other and got to know each other. The strength and structure of the Northeastern Student Government Association's Student Senate was clarified. The two NoTSO delegates to the conference got to meet delegates from other organizations, which will make them more effective in representing you. It all starts with an introduction!
Please attend our next meeting to introduce yourself and your ideas to us, to meet other non-traditional students, and to let our current members and officers know how NoTSO can best serve your interests!

A morning session was held to summarize the conference and prepare us to bring new ideas and information back to our respective organizations.
Overall, the Student Leadership Conference was a huge success!

Our Executive Board met today at 3:00 PM to discuss plans for the first month of Fall 2004. At 4:00 PM, our Regular Meeting was held.

Fall 2004 Meetings

The first NoTSO meeting to be held during an academic school year. This meeting will introduce new and potential members to our organization and its members.
We hope to primarily focus on socializing and getting to know each other. We will discuss business issues, if it seems appropriate; decisions on those issues will wait until our first Regular Meeting, to be held on September 9, 2004. Your voice will be heard!
Please attend our first meeting to introduce yourself, to meet other non-traditional students, and to let our current members and officers know how NoTSO can best serve your interests!

Today is the last day to pre-order Krispy Kreme Donuts! NoTSO will distribute all pre-ordered donuts at a distribution table in the breezeway across from the UC on Wednesday, September 1, 2004.
