This is going to be a
great year. I always try to keep communication lines open with
parents. If you would like to speak with me, please call the office and
leave a message to make an appointment (746-8720). I will get back with
you as soon as I can. Classroom Philosophy ·
I hope to meet each child’s individual needs and learning
styles. My goal is that every child will become a successful reader and
writer and will be prepared for testing. ·
Learning should be fun and meaningful. I hope each
child will develop a love for learning. Discipline ·
Most children behave very nicely and follow the school
procedures. If a child doesn’t follow the classroom or school
procedures, he or she will be given three chances. ·
If the behavior continues, the child will receive a “bench
slip”. This means the child will miss one recess during lunch.
The slip is taken home for a parent to sign. The child brings the slip
back the next day. If the slip is not brought back, another recess will
be missed. Homework ·
Homework is taken home every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursday. ·
Homework is returned the very next day from when it is
assigned. Wish List ·
Ziploc Sandwich Bags ·
Wrapped candies, example, Jolly Ranchers ·
