Please check in and sign
our guest book located in the front office. A Please check in with the
office and log your volunteer hours in to the volunteer log book. PTA
is always looking for volunteers to assist with various projects. If
you are able to volunteer on a regular basis, reading with students, or
mentoring, please contact the Principal or School Counselor and we will let
the teachers know you are available. We welcome volunteers. You
may log volunteer hours when working with the scouts, coaching Grimes
students in sports events, working as a homeroom parent, and attending field
trips with your child. Please make sure you have completed the
background security check sent home with your child in their first day
packet, or additional forms are available in the front office.
Every hour you log counts towards our accountability. Thank you in
advance for all you do to support our school. Please check our link for school supplies. Grimes has,
in the past, qualified to receive PASS school supplies to assist with the
expense of purchasing items for your student. We did not qualify this
year and therefore supply lists are posted. If you have any questions,
please contact the office at 746-8720. Birthday
Party/Classroom Treats All treats provided to
students must be store bought. This is a requirement by Tulsa Public
Schools. If you bring treats for your child's birthday, please notify
the teacher in advance. Treats must be distributed by the parent,
during their child's lunch hour. Treats are given to every child in the
class and not shared amongst other students in the school. This helps to
eliminate conflict. Thank you very much! All records needed prior
