The mission of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program at Northeastern State University is as follows:
To prepare students for careers in three major fields of study:
meeting and convention management,
tourist destination development and management,
and gaming operations and procedures.
This mission is to be accomplished through the development and administration of a dynamic and relevant program which provides quality graduates for segments of the hospitality/tourism industry associated with the specified fields of study. This mission will be carried out within the guidelines of the College of Business and Technology and the University.
