Teaching
and Technology E-Portfolio
EPortfolio
Reflection:
This was an
appealing process for me. I enjoyed creating an Eportfolio comprised of the
various modules we have been creating throughout the semester. It was
interesting to see how they each built on or complemented each other.
Initially, I
attempted to utilize a web creator that I was unfamiliar with -- just to gain
additional knowledge. I fooled around with Geocities and Tripod but
didn't particularly care for either one so I ended up using my school server.
Originally, I tried Geocities but then remembered it didn't support FrontPage
so I tried Tripod next but became a bit confused over file management. I
think if I had afforded myself additional time, I would have been able to
acquaint myself with one of the unfamiliar servers to the degree that I would
have been satisfied with the end result.
Given the time
constraints I was personally and professionally faced with, though, I finally
opted for the more familiar server – my school server - which provided
virtually unlimited space and no advertisement requirements.
I'm especially
satisfied with the end product in its application to the courses I teach, both
for myself and as an example for my students.
