Nu Delta Sigma is Northeastern State University's Law and Justice Council. This Council is a Recognized Student Organization on campus and was founded in the Spring 2001. The vision of this group is to provide maximum exposure to the Law and Justice System in a local, state, and federal capacity. We have successfully united Pre-Law, Political Science, Paralegal and Criminal Justice majors in this group and are promoting unity and understanding between these disciplines. Our council is open to ALL majors at the university because we desire to encourage ALL of our students to learn more about the justice system of our city, state and country. The Law and Justice Council at NSU provides Scholarship Information Contacts, Career Opportunity Contacts, Community Involvement through the local CASA program, leadership training and experience, and arranges for cross-exposure in areas of law enforcement, legal research, law schools, attendance of various federal court cases, and legislative intern interests. We are highly supported by campus administration and NSU alumni have recently offered their assistance to enhance and promote our council. For meeting minutes, scroll down.
