My name is Valarie Huskins , I’m 24 and I’m live in Poteau. I’m originally from Sallisaw but in 2006, I moved to Poteau to attend CASC. I’m married to Christian Huskins. We have been married for almost 4 years. Christian is in his final semester of Physical Therapy Assistant school at Carl Albert State College in Poteau. In September 2010, we were blessed with our son Zaidon Stone. He is now 17 months old but I swear he thinks that he is 8. I am in my final semester at NSU. In May, I will have my bachelors in Marketing. Although my degree is in Marketing, I’ve taken many HTM courses out of curiosity for the industry. Someday, before I’m 30, I want to get my Master’s degree. Also, I work for Central National Bank in Poteau. I’ve been employed there since 2006. I’ve worked in many positions. Now, I am an Audit and Compliance assistant. I really love my job. After graduation, I plan to stay with the bank. There is promise of an officer promotion and I’m hoping that they will allow me to take on more marketing responsibilities.
