Annual conference
held on campus

Dr. Mike Sharp, Progessor of Political Science, is President Elect of the Oklahoma Political Science Association.
The OPSA holds its annual conference at the university of the president elect so the conference came to NSU Nov. 4 and 5.
There were eight panels scheduled for these two days covering topics from local government to international relations.
Former Gov. George Nigh was the keynote speaker. This year, participants came from Ohio and Texas to participate.
Sharp is presently working on the 4th edition of The Directory of Congressional Voting Scores and Interest Group Ratings.
It will be published by Congressional Quarterly Press as soon after the first of the year as the group ratings are available and recorded.
This 4th edition will provide voting scores and interest group ratings on every member of Congress from 1947 through 2004.
It is a two volume, 1700 page (approximately) publication that provides both a longitudinal and latitudinal view of the voting behavior of the individual members of Congress.
