Gabe Hill
President

Welcome to T.C.W.B.S.F.Y. ONLINE Fall 2000. My name is Gabe Hill and I am President for the Alpha Rho Chapter here at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. There are going to be many different articles from different officers, each pertaining to they're own area's of business while mine, well, I'll just type and we'll just see.
We are a chapter of about 17 active members with 14 initiates for a band of 76 people. We fell into kind of a service and moral decline through the 80's and first part of the 90's and the goal of the current Brotherhood is to bring the Alpha Rho back to the prominence that we once enjoyed so long ago. It really is quite simple. All it takes is getting our paperwork in on time and doing exactly what we are charged with doing by our rich fraternal history and traditions. Here are some of the things that we have slated to do to promote our band program, school, and Brotherhood:

    - Work day for the whole chapter and initiates on September 30 at The Station
    - "Feed the Starving Musician Day" - feed both the NSU and UCO bands prior to the game on November 11
    - Purchase a new copier for Will Campbell, Director of Jazz Studies
- Band T-shirts (fundraiser)
Okay, I know - it's not a lot, but its early in the year and we haven't found everything we need to do yet. Right now our Band Service Committee is compiling a list of things to do for the band from our director and we plan on have two projects a month with one major project a semester. We will have the list in our picture box in front of the band room and check off the things we have done so that people can see what we plan to do and what we have accomplished - faculty and students alike.
We have already started preparations for the Southwest District Convention in Lubbock and all the chapters in our district are in for a treat. We are going to have a Latin percussion ensemble that is going to kick aaa - well, you know - and some great ideas for some spirit things that are really going to give you a heads up.
That's going to be about it from me for this edition, just keep your eyes open to the great things that are coming your way from the Alpha Rho.

Tina Sorick
Vice-President

My name is Tina Sorick, and I am currently serving as Vice President of the Alpha Rho Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. I play Flute/Piccolo in the Northeastern State Univeristy Marching and Concert bands, and I am majoring in English with the goal of attending Law School after graduation.
The main responsibility of my office, as outlined in Article III of the Kappa Kappa Psi Alpha Rho Bylaws, is being in charge of the Membership Education Program. A well developed Membership Education Program is essential for a chapter to succeed. The initiates are in fact the future of the chapter. I currently have 14 strong initiates, and I know I am having a blast serving my office, and I only hope they are having a great time rushing! I wish everyone luck this semester!

Regan Brodrick
Recording Secretary

Hello and welcome to the Alpha Rho chapter's homepage. I'm Regan Brodrick the Recording Secretary for the AP chapter. This is my second semester in holding this office. Things are really looking great for our chapter and we are getting a lot accomplished. Marching band, the membership candidate class, committee meetings, and fellowships have kept me busy, actually all of us busy, but its okay because were having a lot of fun. Even though district is about 6 months away, we are already planning for the event and I am getting really excited about going. Hope you all have a great fall semester and that your chapter and bands are doing well. In brotherly love, Regan Brodrick

Christian Brodersen
Treasurer

Hello-Hello, Welcome to our site, my name is Christian Collier Brodersen and I am the newly elected Treasurer for the Fall of 2000 Sem. I haven't really decided what my major is yet but I have finished my minor in Music and am thinking about doing an endorsement in it. As Treasurer I am currently working on getting our Band T-Shirts in by our next game, it shouldn't be too much longer. On the other hand, we are also working on getting a copier for our Jazz Dept. I'm sure we are going to have a great sem/yr! Take care!

B.J. O'Shea
Corresponding Secretary

Welcome to another exciting year with Alpha Rho! As corresponding secretary, I soon will be initiating dialogue with many chapters in the surrounding area, which I hope will lead to improved interchapter relations. Within the chapter, my duties keep me well-involved: Public Relations Committee chair; District/T-shirt Committee co-chair; Keeper of the Mail (okay, I made that title up); and like all Alpha Rho members, serving the NSU Marching, Concert, and Jazz Bands, as well as our Chapter Sponsor, Mr. Jeff Bright, in any capacity.
If you have any questions, comments, recipes, or simply need to email someone about anything (Kappa Kappa Psi, Alpha Rho, how to make fabulous peanut butter cookies), feel free to let me know at beej@kkpsi.org. AEA!

Aaron Moore
Alumni Secretary

Hello, again and welcome to the fall issue of the TCWBSFY Online. We are already off to an exciting semester here at NSU, and we have some alumni activities coming up soon.
Homecoming is sceduled for October 7th, and we are looking forward to the return of the Alumni Band. We would also ask that all alumni members of Kappa Kappa Psi join us on the fifty yard line following the game to sing our Fraternity Song and Fraternity Hymn.
For those of you who haven't received mail from me, I am hoping to start a local alumni association and get several of our members involved with the NAA and SWDAA.
