Visions of Christmas

The Alpha Rho Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi is performing a Christmas Concert with all your favorite Christmas classics. Along with wonderful music, we will also be having a Silent Auction. All profits made will go towards the purchasing of new uniforms for the NSU Band.

Kappa Kappa Psi Southwest District Secretary-Treasurer

Brother Rochelle Fousel was selected to serve the 2007-08 term as the Southwest District Secretary-Treasurer. She is Alpha Rho's first member of the District Council since Robert Sanders served as District Vice-President in 1989-90.

Alumni Bnaquet and 3rd Degree

The 3rd anual alumni banquet went off without a hitch, and was followed by 3rd degree. Five brothers from the Delta Sigma chapter made it up for the evening, and many of the alumni stayed for 3rd. We welcomed 13 new members into our chapter. Congratulations to them, and to us for gaining so many new faces.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Interviews / First degree

Interviews for prospective members will be held on Monday, September 4 beginning at 3pm. Chapter members need to arrive no later than 2:30.

First Degree will also be held on the same day. It is scheduled for 8pm, and chapter members should arrive prior to 7:30.

Funeral Service

The funeral service for brother Daphne Jones will be this Saturday, July 15th at 10:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1124 North Cincinnati in Tulsa, OK.

Tpublic viewing will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday at Dyer Memorial Chapel, 1610 E. Apache, 918-425-5549.

Summer Meeting & Float Trip

The chapter's annual summer meeting is scheduled for 7/7. We will all meet at Stephanie's house around 6 to cook dinner and have the meeting.

Most of the chapter along with Brothers from other chapters and other friends will be meeting on Saturday morning at 9am to go floating.

Monday, April 17th the Wind Ensemble and Concert Band will be performing in the Performing Arts Center at 8pm. It's going to be a really great concert and Alpha Rho will be serving refreshments afterwards, so stick around!
