The Honors Program at Northeastern State University is a challenging educational option for academically talented students who enjoy learning. The Honors Program features an enriched learning environment and provides qualified students the opportunity to grow intellectually. Honors students work with distinguished faculty members and peers in enhanced courses,
pursue independent research, and participate in co-curricular cultural experiences.

Benefits of being an Honors Student include academic scholarships, special Honors courses (with transcript notation), priority enrollment, enrichment activities, cultural events, field trips, faculty mentorship on individual research projects, Honors Scholar recognition at graduation and designation on diploma, and library lending privileges comparable to graduate students.

Updates:

Welcome

Update for Incoming Students (Fall 2013) 04/07/13:

Update for Incoming Students (Fall 2013):
Information letters will be coming soon to all of those accepted into the Honors Program at NSU. If you have already received confirmation that you are accepted, please remember that you should not set up an enrollment session with the University. The Program maintains its own enrollment session that you will be learning about soon. Again, please do not enroll through the University if you are an accepted member of the Honors Program.
