While attending NSU, Ms. Jones played tennis for Ron Cox while earning a Bachelors of Science in Health and Human Performance. She then went on to earn a Masters of Science in Health and Kinesiology at Northeastern State University. While obtaining her masters she served as a graduate assistant in the Fitness Center and taught racquetball for the H&K Department for one year. In July 2005 she was hired as the Intramural Coordinator. Ms. Jones is currently working on a Ph.D. at the University of Arkansas, teaching 3 courses at NSU and running the Intramural Department.
