Fire trucks

Introduction

Did you know that a fire truck is one of the complex vehicles on the road? In this web quest you will get to experience what a fire truck looks like.

Task

In your group you and a partner will design and build your own fire truck. Once you have completed your fire truck your group will present it, along with your design plan to the class, and discuss what you did.

Process

1. First, get into your group and brainstorm about what you know about the appearance of a fire truck and what it should have.

2. Second, in your group begin designing your own fire truck on a sheet of paper.

3. Begin to construct your fire truck using any materials you want.

4. After construction is completed, prepare your group for the

presentation of your design and fire truck. Be ready to explain your design.

5. Give presentation to the class.
