PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our Art Program offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design and Art Education. Our students combine intensive study in their emphasis areas along with studies offered by NSU’s General Education Curriculum which helps them to become strong well rounded productive members of the workforce.

All of our students begin our program by taking 36 credit hours in our intensive foundations program which includes:

  • Printingmaking
  • Art History Survey I
  • Art History Survey II
  • Contemporary Art History

Our foundation courses help to give all of our art students the basic knowledge of aesthetics that every artist, designer and art educator needs in order to have a successful career.
