The Gallery rests in Tahlequah's Historic Downtown

The Gallery At Northeastern is one of the Art Program’s most valuable assets. Nestled in Tahlequah’s historic downtown our gallery works as a practicing “lab” of sorts for our students. Each year graduating seniors are required, as a part of fulfilling their curriculum, to exhibit their work in a senior capstone exhibit. This allows our students to experience first hand what goes into the preparation and successful completion of exhibiting work. They are taught hanging styles and standards along with proper framing techniques. For each exhibition students are also required to publicize for the event by creating posters, postcards etc.

At the end of each season the gallery closes with the Annual Student Juried Show. This show highlights some of the best work created by our students and is a favorite among the community.
