First and foremost, I am a Sallisaw Black Diamond. I graduated from Sallisaw High School in 2004. I was an active member of FBLA, Speech Club, Science Club, Choir, and Math Club. I was 9th grade representative of FBLA. I chose not to run for any other offices in school, because I was trying to focus on my education.

I made many memories in school and I had many friends. Our favorite things to do were drive around listening to music as loud as we could and going to movies. We always had lots of good fun!

The summer I graduated, I went to Carl Albert State College in Sallisaw and decided that I wanted to transfer to Poteau in the fall. I chose to live in the dorms which turned out to be a big mistake. I had a bad roommate and it just didn’t work out. I decided to move back home and finish at the Sallisaw campus. I graduated from CASC in December 2005, just 1 ½ years after starting. I chose Pre-Elementary Education as my major and I have been excited about teaching ever since.

In the spring of 2006, I began my adventure at NSU Tahlequah. I had my own apartment and a new found freedom. I worked really hard, but I ended up falling in love. I finished the semester out and then once again moved back home. I began college at University of Arkansas Fort Smith in Fall 2006. I didn’t like it at all, but I decided to stick with it just so I could get my degree. I didn’t. I took two semesters off and finally got my head on straight and decided to come back to NSU! I am currently going to the Broken Arrow campus, which I love! I plan to be finished completely by spring 2010! Keep your fingers crossed!!
