Northeastern State University Faculty Council

--

The NSU Faculty Council is the elected, representative body of the Northeastern State University Faculty Association. The Northeastern Faculty Association is an organization of the faculty designed to facilitate democratic participation in the development of institutional policies and further the pursuit of the University's mission and goals. This is accomplished through its elected representative - the Northeastern Faculty Council - serving as a liaison body between the faculty and the administration. The Northeastern Faculty Association is comprised of all full-time members of the faculty. The Northeastern Faculty Association is governed by its Constitution and Bylaws.

The officers of the Faculty Association are a President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer. These officers also serve as the officers of the Faculty Council. All three officers are elected for two-year terms by the Faculty Association in elections held in April of odd-numbered years.
