How did you and your spouse meet? Did he have a unique or romantic way of proposing? Share it. Chris and I met at Lake Tenkiller, by fate, on Memorial Day 2 years ago, through mutual friends of he and my twin brother, Sean. He asked me to marry him in a wonderful way on an October evening right about sunset, on the street/curb right outside the foundation of our new home being built in Owasso. He said that he couldn’t think of a better way to establish the foundation of our future together than in front of the foundation of our future home. It was very romantic! It was a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life.

If you weren’t at NSU right now, where would you be? I would be at home napping on the couch!! In general…I would be teaching in an elementary school somewhere.

What has been your greatest accomplishment in life? Being a first-generation college graduate.

Where did you have your most memorable meal & what was it? My most memorable meal occurred in college during a time that I only had about a dollar to my name. Kyle Shepard and I combined our pennies and nickels for a meal of 99 cent Wal-Mart French bread, and a sam’s cola. Only to be shared in the Wal-Mart parking lot at about 1 am!!

What is your earliest childhood memory? Going into the hospital to get tubes in my ears at age 4.

Where/what is your favorite vacation destination? Las Vegas or CanCun

What kind of music do you listen/dance to? & what’s the best concert you’ve ever been to? I mostly listen to country music. The nest concert I have ever been to was Eddie Money at Veteran’s Park (wink-Todd) Ha!

What is one goal you have set for yourself that you haven’t yet reached? To earn my Master’s Degree in Reading Education.
