How did you and your spouse meet? Did he have a unique or romantic way of proposing? Share it. We met in Branson at a Christian student leadership conference (I was actually already friends w/ his older brother). He proposed at Ti Amo’s Italian Restaurant. My engagement ring was tied to a champagne glass. He proposed after he had come home from a 7 month Army deployment in Bosnia.

What is something about you that people would be surprised to know? I used to speak French fluently and worked for American airlines in the accounting department as a French translator.

What is your claim to fame? Former “beauty queen” (I was on TV so I guess that counts as fame???), Miss Coweta 1996 competed in Miss Oklahoma

If you weren’t at NSU right now, where would you be? Managing retail, YUCK!! I hated the nights and weekends, liked the managing though.

What has been your greatest accomplishment in life? Graduating with 2 bachelors degrees in 4 yrs and no loans!!!

What is your “life motto” (words that you try to live by)? You only get out of something what you put in it.

Where/what is your favorite vacation destination? Tahiti-French Polynesian Islands (we honeymooned there).

What is one goal you have set for yourself that you haven’t yet reached? Attend law school – earn J.D.
