How did you and your spouse meet? Did he have a unique or romantic way of proposing? Share it. We met here on campus & began dating Feb 26, 1986. Eight months later he professed great love for me (finally). On my 21st birthday, he brought me wine, cheese, & the magic love pumpkin. At midnite he had me close my eyes so he could light the jack-o-lantern (a small pumpkin with cut out hearts). When I opened my eyes & looked into the pumpkin, my engagement ring was inside. Jeff dropped to his knees and asked "Will you make my biscuits for me?" I replied "Do you want me to think about it?"

What is something about you that people would be surprised to know? I am a full blood Italian from Queens, New York.

What is your claim to fame? During high school, I was at Caravan dancing every Friday nite. One of those Fridays, the "Outsiders" came to the Caravan after filming for the day and I got to dance with Matt Dillon, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Machio, etc. I even slow danced with Matt Dillon - a total freak!!!!

If you weren't at NSU right now, where would you be? Lifeguarding on a warm sunny beach in Florida.

What has been your greatest accomplishment in life? Besides childbirth, earning my Challenge Course Facilitator certification after 4 intense days of training.

Where did you have your most memorable meal & what was it? Jeff & I have discovered many great restaurants in our travels - cajun in New Orleans, seafood in Florida, Italian on the streets of Little Italy in NY, but the most memorable is a combo meal at Krystal Burger on Bourbon Street at 2:30am. It was $16.00 for both of us to eat - I'm thinking Supply & Demand!!!

What is your "life motto" (words that you try to live by)? Work like you don=t need the money; love like you've never been hurt; dance like nobody's watching.

What is your earliest childhood memory? Standing on the corner of my street in Ozone Park (NY), waiting for grandpa to walk home from work. When we could see each other, he would whistle his famous "high pitched" whistle at me.

Where/what is your favorite vacation destination? Drink in my hand, toes in the sand - doesn't matter what beach it is.

What is the biggest lie you ever told? (pulled off or busted) Suffice it to say, I'm going to get one heck of a payback from my girls!

Where did you have the wildest spring break? Why was it "wild"? My mother knew better than to let me go off somewhere for spring break!

What has been your most "embarrassing moment"? Too many to pick just one since it happens on a weekly basis.

What kind of music do you listen/dance to? & what's the best concert you've ever been to? I love 70s Disco, 80's Funk, and anything I can shake my groove thing to. Best concert is tough - in April Jeff and I are going to see Kid Rock in Tulsa and Prince in OKC. I'm hoping the Prince concert will be my best one.

What is one goal you have set for yourself that you haven't yet reached? To be selected for "Survivor"! (I've applied twice)
