The Northeastern
State University Writing Center (UWC) is located in Seminary Hall 135. The Center houses 30+ computers as tools for
student use in preparing writing assignments and provides tutoring services in
manuscript development and completion by trained writing consultants.
Student
worker positions are available in the UWC for undergraduate students interested
in improving their own writing, learning how to tutor other students, and
learning how a writing center operates. Good student writers from all
disciplines are encouraged to apply if interested.
Graduate
students may also apply for the Graduate Assistant Coordinator positions in the
UWC. Major prerequisites are graduate standing and completion of one or more of
the Writing Program Administration courses.
