We know that even getting started on a paper can be a little overwhelming, so we have made ourselves available to help you at all stages of your paper:
A few of the many areas in which we can help you in your writing are the following:
· Brainstorm a topic for an assignment
· Organize your ideas before drafting a paper
· Clarify your thoughts about a paper
· Revise, but not proofread, rough drafts
· Help you with MLA or APA formatting
· Show you basic computer applications
We encourage in-person tutoring, which we find is more affective for students. We would love to read and help you with your work! Feel free to call or stop by to make an appointment for tutoring. We also accept walk-ins, however we suggest you allow yourself enough time for the tutor to thoroughly cover your paper.
On-Line Tutoring
We understand that not all students have the time to stop by the lab to discuss their papers. We accept papers on-line from such students. You may email your papers to nsu3622a@nsuok.edu. We ask that you send your papers as an attachment to your email. Please allow at least 24 hours for responses to papers and 72 hours for papers sent over the weekend.
