ESR Probe
The ESR probe has a small coil on one end in which a sample of DPTH is
placed. A radio frequency signal generated by the probe supplies the oscillating
magnetic field. Absorption of energy from the field changes the effective
impedance of the coil and can be detected using a dual trace oscilloscope.
The characteristic waveform is shown in the ESR Manual. The drive frequency
can be read (in MHz) from the LED display on the main unit.
