Instructions for registering as
a user and downloading software are here
Free software to burn ISO
images to CD or DVD can be obtained from Alex Feinmann , Slysoft, and other sources.
You don't have to burn ISO images to CD, you can also use the ISO
images with this
software from Microsoft. Instructions how
to use it are here.
If this software is too complicated, there is also a great program
called alcohol52% that you can use for free for 30 days. After that, the software costs
$27 or so.
Finally, many students ask if Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are included. They are not. However, as a student, you can get the Office Professional Suite for only $60 by ordering it from The Ultimate Steal website. You will have to download the software, maybe burn it to a CD, and you will probably need a credit card to pay. Use your NSU email address when ordering, that is how Microsoft can check if you are really a student.
