Version 1.0 - Power
The very first layout for Effulgent Reflections, sorta. I had a
different version that was actually online before this, but I
didn't have any videos online yet so this is what I refer to as my
first layout. Very simple frame-inside a frame-inside a frame
layout. I liked the image of Sarah and it seemed really powerful
so that's what I named it. This actually only lasted about a month
before I changed it.

Version 2.0 - Love Stories
This is a favorite layout of mine. It features Buffy and Spike and
a quote I found in my Microsoft Picture It cd. I feel like it
totally summarizes the whole Spuffy relationship-that their love
hasn't ended just because they're not together and the show has
ended. Plus my first blue layout which will probably be the first
in a long line of them. I like blue. It's bright and fun and my
last layout made without the help of Adobe Photoshop, which I got
for my birthday.

Version 3.0 - House Sitting
Another blue layout. I warned you though. This one features
several images of Buffy sitting on her house and her porch. And I
called it house sitting because she's sitting on her house and
it's a play on words for a person who watches someone's house
while they're away. Thought it was neat when I made it. My first
layout using my brand new Adobe Photoshop and having a fun time
with blends and blurs. I didn't get the top image exactly how I
wanted it but I forbear. This version had a much nicer layout and
an easier way of getting around. This layout lasted for a good 6
months before I changed it.

Version 4.0 - Let's Go to Work!
Hey look! An Angel themed layout! Bet you thought you'd never see
one of them. Well, I saw these pictures taken during the very
final episode in Angel magazine and I had to make a layout from
them since they were so different. I love how Amy looks when she's
smiling and dressed as Illyria, Angel with the towel on his head
is hilarious, and all the expressions and attitudes on everyone's
faces is just so great. Now I'm getting weepy again. I guess you
could say this is my tribute to the final ep, the one that made me
cry, laugh, and go through every single human emotion...just like
every episode did. Angel rules!

Version 5.0 - Talking About Buffy
I named this one what I did because I believe Sarah was talking
about Buffy when these photos were taken. She has so many cute and
funny expressions I just had to make them into a layout. I used a
table for this and it was really easy to use, except sometimes
when the table would look wonky but other than that it was really
nice. I changed the background in the pictures (originally blue)
and it sorta looks pink but it's not. It's more of a light maroon.
I don't have anything against pink I just don't think it would go
with any of my layouts.

Version 6.0 - Unexpected Love
"Sometime love can be found in the most unexpected places." The
quote that inspired this layout. You never really knew where you
were going with Buffy and Spike. Their love was so unexpected yet
at the same time you could totally see it coming; all the
beautiful banter and feelings they had for each other. Hate is a
strong emotion and it led to love for these two. My first purple
layout. Which happens to be my favorite color. Surprised I hadn't
made one before this. The layout was pretty simple and the banner
was nothing to write home about but I wanted a quite feeling to
it. It took me awhile to get the images in the banner right. At
first I was going to use images from every season but in the end
stuck with two from season 4-Buffy (although Faith is inside)
flirting with Spike at the Bronze and Spike (in the next episode)
doing some flirting back. That touch to her hair is just so
reminiscent of his feelings for her later on in season 5 and
similar to the touch in OMWF. I love it. And my manipulation. I've
used that in wallpapers and awards a lot. Love it too.

Version 7.0 - Pillow Talk
Usually the reason I have for choosing a certain layout is because
of the picture. As soon as I saw these images of Amy on the couch
with all the pretty color pillows, I knew I had to make a layout.
I went back to frames and decided to bring out the lilac color in
one of the pillows to use as the color for the layout. It was
pretty easy to make graphic wise but one thing I didn't get
exactly right was the tag-board placement. It looked alright in IE
which is what I use but in everything else, the tag-board floated
over the main frame so you couldn't see anything in it. I later
made another version for non-IE users but I still regularly got
complaints about the box. Oh, well. Gone now. Hopefully the
current layout won't have the same problem.
