1997 Reader's theater presentation with Dr. Michael Phillips of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) at the spring Living Literature conference.

1995 Performed the role of Charlotte Bronte in the Living Literature Conference reader's theater production "A Dance on Hot Bricks" to teach students about the works and life of Charlotte Bronte.

1995 Presented a paper entitled "Using Performance Techniques to Activate Your Library Instruction" at the 23rd Annual National LOEX Library Instruction Conference.

1994 Presented a workshop on "Presentation Skills in Library Instruction" to the Oklahoma Bibliographic Instruction Council.

1994 Conducted an Oklahoma Bibliographic Instruction Council workshop on "Evaluating Bibliographic Instruction."  Used active learning techniques to explore focus groups, teaching portfolios, pre/post tests, and peer coaching.
