Specialist Interview Presentation

COMM 3803 Interviewing

Interview two professionals whose jobs regularly include interviewing.  (This includes retail managers, school administrators, human resource specialists, insurance agents, clergy, doctors, counselors, and others).

Choose people who are not family members or close friends.  Use the interviews to discuss their styles of interviewing and the advice they give you, based on their experiences.  The interviews should be done in person.

In a 5-7 minute speech, educate your audience with the material you gathered from your interviews.  Simply outline three to five key concepts from the interviews.

You will be required to submit your speech outline, reference page, your interview protocols, and the notes from your interviews before your presentation. You may only use the outline during your presentation.

Below is the rubric and grading criteria.  This assignment is worth 200 points.
