Amberdawn Moore received a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Arizona, a Master’s degree in History from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master’s degree in Education from Texas A&M University. She has taught various social studies courses in grade levels 6-12, as well as history at the collegiate level. She joined the faculty at Northeastern State University in August 2008. Ms. Moore’s instructional interests include U.S. history, cultural geography, American federal government and secondary social studies teaching methods. Her research interests are in the fields of secondary social studies curriculum development and modern American history. Outside of academia, Ms. Moore enjoys traveling in Europe, keeping up her foreign language skills, quilting, cooking and spending time outdoors.
