Dr. Justin Halpern has been teaching political science at NSU for 17 years. He received his BA in Political Science from Grinnell College, his MA from Iowa State University, and completed his Ph.D. in Political Science at Stanford University. Professor Halpern’s area of interest is the role and functions of the Judicial Branch, and he teaches courses in Constitutional Law, Civil Liberties, and the Judicial Process. He also offers classes in the American Presidency, Public Policy Analysis, and American Foreign Policy, and is a contributor to the Facts on File, Encyclopedia of the Supreme Court.
