Billy Joe Davis is a native Texan who joined the NSU faculty in 1968. He teaches a variety of American History courses, Latin American History and Social Studies Methods. Davis has worked with the National History Day program in Oklahoma since its inception in 1980. He is the principal advisor for the Social Studies Education degree program and spends considerable time each semester observing the department's intern teachers.
