Dr. Ron Becker earned his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, and an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has fourteen years of university teaching experience, including one year at the Foreign Languages University in the People’s Republic of China. His current research interests are the ideological basis of political thought and government in China. He has published in the journal of the History of Political Thought and serves on the board of directors for the National Social Science Association. At NSU, Dr. Becker teaches courses in international relations and comparative government, and serves as the coordinator of the Model United Nations program.
