Getting Started
The first step in any successful grant project
is to identify an appropriate funding source. NSU subscribes to
the Community
of Science (COS) Funding Opportunities search engine and Expertise
database. This is a good place to start. It is often better to stay
current with funding trends in your area of expertise than to find
a funding source to match an existing project. So, get your COS
profile filled out! More information.
There are also many tools on this web site to assist
you in finding funding opportunities. If you need further assistance,
feel free to contact the
Office of Research & Sponsored Programs to discuss your ideas.
The next step in proposal development at NSU is
to meet with the Research & Sponsored Programs Office to discuss
your proposal. The project
timeline will be discussed and key deadlines established.
Use this web site and the Research & Sponsored
Programs Office every step of the way. We are here to help make
sure your project is a success!
