This Chapter provides benefits for dependents and spouces of veterans who died or are 100 percent disabled due to service related causes.
TRANSFER STUDENT (Received benefits at another institution)
For students receiving Chapter 35 benefits for the first time, allow 6-8 weeks before receiving first payment. Students who have received benefits and are already in the VA database, allow 2-4 weeks before receiving payment.
