The
Veteran Affairs staff, located in the Admissions and Records office,
serves as a liaison in certifying veterans, dependents,
reservist/guardsmen, and disabled veterans for Veterans educational
benefits. It is your responsibility as a student to be aware of and to
fulfill all requirements for receipt of your Veterans benefits.
You
must notify our office of the following
- Drops
- Adds
- Withdrawals
- Canceled
courses
- Degree
and Major changes
- Non-attendance
- Repeated
courses

30 |
If you served active duty
in the military for over three years and elected to receive GI Bill
benefits, you may qualify for benefits under this chapter. |

1606 |
If you have signed a
contract to serve in the active reserves for six years or longer, you
may be entitled to receive benefits under this chapter. |

35 |
These benefits are
available to dependents of veterans who either died while on, or as a
result of, active duty or who are permanantly disabled due to their
services in the armed services. |

If you have more than a
10% VA rated disability as a result of serving in the armed forces, you
may qualify for this chapter, also known as Vocational Rehabilitation. |

REAP (Chapter 1607 of title 10, U.S. Code) is a new education program that provides up to 36 months of education benefits to members of the Selected Reserves, Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), and National Guard, who are called or ordered to active service in response to a war or national emergency, as declared by the President or Congress. |
