Old-growth Forests in Oklahoma
Quercus muhlenbergii
The oldest trees have a gnarled, wind-blown appearance
View to Lake Keystone
Small grove of younger trees in an opening
A small Red-cedar that may be several decades in age.
Very large (and old) post oak
Large multi-stem red-cedar
Back on the top the slope is flat enough for soil to
collect and support the growth of grasses
Not quite ripe persimmons!
